Sanjar’s academic journey began at the prestigious “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, where he cultivated his passion for tourism, environmental policy, and heritage preservation. His co-authored research, The Importance of Nature Parks and Local Destinations, published in the American Journal of Economics and Business Management (Vol. 6, No. 2, 2023), offered a nuanced analysis of tourism’s ecological impact. It proposed actionable frameworks for mitigating environmental degradation in protected areas an issue resonating with policy leaders around the world.
Sanjar’s voice is distinguished not only by its academic integrity but also by its pragmatic optimism. “National parks are more than natural resources—they are platforms for education, social healing, and sustainable economies,” he emphasizes.
Recognized by Global Institutions
Sanjar’s leadership extends beyond the classroom. In 2021, he earned international recognition from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) during its Global Students League, where he championed tourism models that harmonize rural development with environmental stewardship.
This ethos carried into his selection by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as one of only five student ambassadors tasked with coordinating its 2023 Annual Meeting in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Trusted with executive-level logistics, Sanjar worked alongside global finance ministers and policymakers, displaying professionalism that earned him high praise from EBRD partners.

Currently, Sanjar is enrolled in Westcliff University’s dual MBA and Digital Communications program. His recent research, Post-Pandemic Tourism Recovery and Growth Strategies for Uzbekistan, outlines forward-thinking policies that combine digital transformation, sustainability, and regional cooperation. “We must reimagine tourism not just as an industry, but as a solution,” Sanjar notes. “A solution to youth unemployment, cultural erosion, and environmental decline.”
A Global Ambassador for Uzbekistan
Whether in academic symposiums, on diplomatic stages, or in grassroots community forums, Sanjar has proven to be an effective ambassador for Uzbekistan and for emerging nations navigating global complexity. He envisions launching a cross-border consultancy focused on sustainable tourism, digital development, and policy design bridging the knowledge gap between developing regions and the global innovation ecosystem.
